My favorite part of running is being with the team!

My best 800 time is 2:22!

My best mile time is 4:58

My best 2 mile time is 11:08.25

My best 3 mile time is 18:18

My most significant race was my first one in Cedar City!

Short-Term Running Goals:

My short term running goal is to beat 5:00 by the end of the school year!

Another short-term goal is to make varsity by my sophomore year.

Long-Term Running Goals:

One of my long-term goals is to make to nationals before the end of my senior year!

run a marathon when i'm 80!

Beat 4 minute mile before i finish high school

 

Personal:

I like to read, run, hike, canoe and be outdoors! I have 5 siblings!  I enjoy blaying backgammon and chess

i felt strong on these hills, even though they weren't my best ones ever, i was really consistent, on all of them.

i felt amazing today. the only downside was the side ache during afternoon practice. i thought that snake this morning was awesome, i just thought it was a stick!

my times today were really inconsistent, that's something i need to work on, that and my final kick at the end of races and workouts.

my legs killed on the first half of the workout, and then i hit my second wind for the 400s, my morning run felt amazing, although i decided to go down 2450 and regretted it coming back up.

i did amazing during the race, not time wise but mental wise. i was able to concentrate more on passing the people in front of me and in setting short term goals to keep me going.

AM: this was the most amazing morning run i've had in a long time! it felt amazing to be feelinig the rain.

PM: I love fartleks! they are not to hard but make it so that you can be able to push yourself and learn to keep a steady pace throughout.

this wasn't my best race time wise. but as for the mental and goal achieving aspect of it it ws aby far my best. it was able to push me to focus on my goal and what i needed to do to achieve that goal.  my legs were super loose as well.

it was blasted hot today. i thought it was hilarious when nobody could stop laughing at the Vernan Werthan park, especially when mike fell over. so much for Byruns "appropriate" tuesdays!

I am super excited for the run a thon! it is going to be a blast.  I enjoyed to days run alot, even thought it was hotter n hades outside.
