i loved that workout! it was hard enough to push me to my limits but not totally killer. i am excited for the time trial tomorrow! i am hoping to be able to go to Herriman this friday! I was able to keep up with the top 5 varsity guys the entire workout, i learned a lot on how to push through the pain! | Comments(1) |

| | i felt great on the 200s, we remained really consistent on our times for those even though we were all hurting. the 5:00 minute tempos felt great, me, hunter, ridge, and reed stuck together really closesly throughout both of them. we ended within a foot of the same spot as our first one on our second. | Add Comment |
| | me and hunter did formaster and extended a little bit afterwards, it felt amazing although both of us were tired from yesterdays workout, on our hard finish we hit a 5:30 mile, we both felt super good! | Add Comment |

these michigans weren"t as hard as i thought they would be, they still pushed me to my limit and made me work! i felt amazing the first 800 and mile and a half, but after the second 800 i began to slowdown and tire a little bit, i really felt it on the second lap when i began to kick up my pace. on the third one i was hurting pretty bad, but decided i had come this far and so i could go a little farther. on the last 400 i didn"t think that i would be able to sprint but nick paced me and helped me to give it my all; thanks Nick! i finished third on the j.v guys! and i got B standard, a double bonus, i figure if i can race like that on saturday i will be abel to get top ten!

Wasatch Rendevous (2.91 Miles) 00:17:56, Place overall: 12 | | i felt really good before the race, i was super excited to race this course again. i started out with faster than i usually go, but dioing it brought me up to ten feet behind nick. during the first lap of the race, i struggled trying to catch my breath, probably because of the altitude. both up and down the hills i let nick pull me and keep me from settling, at the start of the second lap i caught nick and passed him till halfway through the second lap when both paul and nick caought and passed me. my shoe came untied at the same time making it harder to go up the hills. throughout the entire race i kept on thinking dare to go hard, don't hold back at all, nick did that super good. i am bummed because i let myself hold back the last 400 meters and let nick and the other guy in front of me get away, i will have to do better at it next time. | Comments(3) |
